RoboKong

Sorry it's been so long since the last post. I'll try not to let that happen again (at least for a little while).

Me and a couple work buddies often have these little drawing challenges where one of us comes up with a topic and we all draw it. This one was to draw an ancient robot that has ruled an undiscovered island for thousands of years.

What is your typica work flow for character paintings, the stuff at the bottom is amazing...

photoshop??? airbrush???

Steve: I mostly use Painter, and the brushes I use most are "Captured Bristle" Acrylic and a modified 2B pencil (method changed to "Cover).

Yeah I studied them quite a bit yesterday, and I figured they were Painter, do you have the digital character design and painting book???

I also made a cool background with a couple of the monsters and the kid and monster flying =]
