This was for the Avalanche blog again. I've always been bothered by the so-called species of "Brownies," because I like real brownies so much better. But if Brownies are all about eating brownies, maybe I can be okay with that.
I must admit that I am often impressed by your work, Sam...But this time the title of your Blog "Sam's Tasty Art" is so very apropos. Kari would like a print of this!

THAT IS BEAUTIFUL. How much time is put into this?
Thanks, Joe. Maybe 6 hours?
Turned out great Sam! Awesome modeling, feels so real.
My eyes are a little confused on the mushroom, can't tell if he's depressing the surface or not you know? Nitpicky I know @_@

I feel like I accidentally came across this little guy on a hike! Wonderful painting!
Wow! How did you do this one? Did you mix it with any photos, or is it all paint? Nice!

One of the best illustrations I've seen in awhile. I've been really enjoying your recent work!
Sam, this is incredible man . . . GEEZ . . . . !!!!!!
Thanks everyone for the comments!
Tom: Curse your eyes! Okay, I'll see what I can do about that.
Heather: It's some "photomanip", and some painting---but even the painted stuff has photo overlays so it would all fit together.
OK, your ability to capture that ambient lighting of reality is downright creepy - even if we're just talking about the brownie guy. Sheesh.
stunning!!!!!
You didn't paint this.
You photographed the little fella whilst he was munching on that brownie.
Good work sir.

Very cool, Sam. It looks so real it makes me want to eat a brownie. The food kind, not the other.
