    will the highlight be seen underwater? because the water is uneven, it will refract the light source all over the place the all over the place - I'm not sure, just asking, and good stuff btw :)

    1. Yes, the sun will still create specular highlights. The surface of the water will break up the highlight a bit, so the highlights won't get as tight and small, but they are definitely there. I cheated the size a little bit, but here's some reference:

    2. By the way, the depth under the surface and the choppiness of the water affect how much the light source is diffused.
