Here's a couple doodles of people from the bus, and a drawing of the model from my work's "drawing session" this morning. She had this funny grimace-smile that I wanted to capture.
The colors on the first one turned out awful because I started out trying to paint him in bluish light, but that failed so I changed it. I need to experiment with other types of lighting, though.

I agree that you should draw from life more often because these are awesome. I like how they each kind of look like there's a vacuum just out of the frame sucking them up. It makes for fun shapes and nice composition.
I love the girl's face. And the light on the bottom guy with his shadowed eyes is fantastic.

I love the exaggeration in these... unless that's what these folks really looked like. If that's the case, way to find the freaks. I LOVE the top one! What a great, stylized character. Always impressive, Sam. You should draw from life all the time.

Joonasjoonas: The sketches probably took 10-15 minutes each. Then painting over them probably took about 30 minutes.

This is great dude. You got such strong planes in your stuff. Even on the girl, where the construction is more soft. REALLY solid drawing.
