Chameleon

Trying out a triadic color scheme.  Not sure I'm 100% there with the color balance.

  1. love it! I'd love to have a better grasp of colour. Mind you, this would be great in black and white!!

  2. I LOVE this. SO much personality. Will it be available for prints? I had a veiled chameleon for 5 years. It was the best Mother's Day gift EVER!

  3. Maybe a little cerulean blue in the background for the balance ?
I also love it as it is, the texture brings a great quality to the piece

  5. Triadic? This is a word? This is a word you are assuming that people who are the kind that like looking at pictures are just going to understand? And why are you making me prove that i'm not a robot? A robot is going to write something like this to you?

    Pfff

  8. I need to leave another comment here. My first comment, which was evidently misunderstood (what an odd thing to happen on the internet!) was just a silly, ironic tease, not an insult. Between friends - one of whom is NOT an artist, and enjoys tweaking noses when polysyllabic discipline-specific argot is thrown around in front of the children. Please do not ever assume that I am anything but very fond, impressed and admiring of Sam's work and his ability to teach.

    Thank you.

  9. Thanks everyone for the comments!

K: Don't worry, I knew your comment was tongue-in-cheek, and my response was meant to be also. I updated the post to clarify that I knew you were joking so others aren't confused. :)
