We did an exercise at work where we had to design a classic actress. The point was to capture that certain type of charisma special to that era. We do these pretty fast; I think this was about an hour.

David: We had a folder full of reference images to pull from, but the character is a new one (not based on an existing actress).

ReplyDeleteJunior: I usually don't paint grey tones first, but I think that's a fine way to go.
